jbq.games is the bank. Your prize store stays real: a table of prizes at church. Every award and every purchase is written to a ledger, so balances always add up.
Earning rules
Open the Points & store tab. Under Earning rules, set the points for each one, then tap Save rules.
- Priority 10, 20, or 30 checked off. Given automatically when a leader taps ✓ Got it at check-off. Default: 10, 20, and 30.
- Quiz-out at a meet. Given automatically when a quizzer quizzes out in a match run with the Quiz match tool. Default: 25.
- Daily practice bonus, after this many answers. Given automatically once a day when a kid answers enough questions on their own device. Default: 5 points after 10 answers.
- Practice night attendance. Given by hand (see below). Default: 10.
Set any rule to 0 to turn it off.
Give points by hand
Use this for attendance, meet results, or anything else.
- Under Give points, check each kid who earns them.
- Under For, pick Practice night attendance, Quiz meet, or Something else.
- Type the points. It starts at your attendance amount.
- Add a note if you like, such as "Great attitude!"
- Tap Give points.
Set up prizes
- Under Prizes, type the prize name and its cost in points.
- Type how many you have under Stock, or leave it blank for no limit.
- Tap Add prize.
Tap Hide to take a prize off the shelf without deleting it. Tap Show to bring it back.
Store night checkout
- Under Store night checkout, pick the kid. Their balance shows next to their name.
- Pick the prize.
- Tap Check out.
The points come off the kid's balance and the stock goes down by one. If the kid doesn't have enough points, or the prize is out of stock, you'll see a message and nothing changes.
Balances
Balances lists every kid, highest first. Kids see their own balance on their home screen.
Meet results
After a quiz meet, open Meet results:
- Check the meet's name and date. If you set the next meet in Settings, they're filled in for you.
- Check each kid who quizzed, and enter their quiz-outs and the points they scored.
- Tap Save results.
Each kid who quizzed gets the "Quizzing at a meet" points, plus the quiz-out points for every quiz-out. You can change both amounts above. Past meets stay listed under This season.
