Priority questions are a lifetime checklist. Each week a kid gets a few questions to learn. At practice night a leader asks them in person. A right answer is verified for good and never assigned again. A miss carries over to next week.
Set the weekly rules
Each group has its own rules.
- Open the Priority questions tab.
- On a group's card, open Weekly rules.
- Set how many 10-, 20-, and 30-point questions each kid gets a week.
- Set Carry over up to: how many unfinished questions can stay on a kid's list.
- Tap Save rules.
New groups start with 2 ten-point and 1 twenty-point question a week, carrying over up to 2. Point values the group doesn't practice are skipped. See Groups.
Assign this week's questions
- On the group's card, tap Assign this week's questions.
- Every kid in the group gets their list. The button changes to Assigned this week ✓.
You assign once per group each week. Weeks start on Monday. Nothing is assigned until a leader taps the button.
How questions are picked
- Questions a kid has already verified are skipped.
- Questions the kid already knows well in practice come first. That way check-off night confirms what they know instead of surprising them.
- Each kid gets their own list.
Carry-over
- A question that isn't checked off stays on the kid's list.
- If more questions are waiting than the carry-over limit, the oldest ones drop off when you assign the next week. They can be picked again in a later week.
- New questions are added on top of the ones that carry over.
Where kids and parents see them
- Kids see "This week's priority questions" at the top of their home screen and can practice them as flash cards.
- Parents get them first in Smart mix on Quiz My Kid.
Reading the group card
Each kid's row shows the questions still to check, like "To check: #12, #40," and their lifetime verified count out of 576.
