Seal practice and the Fix-It list

Practice tests to the national Bible Master rules, a live misses-left counter, and a list of misses to fix.

Bible Master seals are awards for knowing the Fact-Pak. Seal Practice lets your kid take practice tests to the same rules, as often as they like.

The seals

  • Discoverer: 20 of 30 ten-point questions.
  • Searcher: 25 of 30 ten-point and 15 of 20 twenty-point questions.
  • Achiever: 28 of 30 ten-point, 18 of 20 twenty-point, and 6 of 10 thirty-point questions.
  • Master: 59 of 60 questions.
  • Bible Quoter: all 95 quotation questions, word-perfect.
  • Bible Excellence: 571 of all 576 questions.

Take a practice test

  1. On your kid's home screen, tap Seal Practice.
  2. Each seal shows how ready your kid is: a percent, or "known" questions out of the total when they're just starting.
  3. Tap a seal. The app draws a random test to the national rules.
  4. The app reads each question. Your kid answers out loud.
  5. The bar at the top shows how many are right and missed, and how many more they can miss. For example: "10-pointers: you can miss 4 more."

The test ends as soon as the result is decided: passed, or too many misses. A passed seal gets a medal on the Seal Practice list.

If the app can't tell what your kid said, it asks once more. If it still can't tell, that question doesn't count either way.

The Fix-It list

  • Every question missed on a practice test goes on the Fix-It list.
  • The list shows at the top of Seal Practice. Tap Drill to practice those questions.
  • A question leaves the list after your kid answers it right on 3 different days. Any practice counts, including the drill and Quiz My Kid.
  • Missing it again starts its count over.

Ready for the real thing?

Practice tests are practice. Official seals are tested in person by an approved tester at church. When your kid passes a practice test, the app tells them to ask their leader about the official test.
